So it seem like an eternity since I last updated my blog here, to be honest I miss the community and I always strive to keep you guys posted. So what in the world is going on here at the Dojo? A lot actually, a lot of behind the scenes work. Am I dead? No. Have I abandon ship? No, I’ve just been very busy with some new content!
Tuts+ Premium Course
The past month or so, I’ve been requested to push out a ‘Getting Started with Motion Graphics’ course for Tuts+ Premium, a real honor I’d have to say. So after days of planning, I finally started working on the 16 course lessons. It’s very procedural and takes tons of planning and editing (the editing probably takes more time than the actual planning and recording combined!) I’m currently on lesson 6, so a bit more to go, expect the course to be pushed out next month or so. If you have a membership over at Tuts+ Premium, definitely look out for that!
Mettle
As you guys knows, I recently did a tutorial for RGTV. It was a load of fun and I’ve gained a few new followers since. Aside from pushing out course lessons, I’ve also been working on a few tutorials for Mettle using ShapeShifter for After Effects. Expect a new tutorial for ShapeShifter next week or so, it’s going to be on AETuts+ first, then here.
The Dojo
Yes I’ve been a busy bee, but I haven’t dismissed CreativeDojo for a second. New tutorials for the Dojo will be coming soon right after I push out the Tuts+ course. Aside from the tutorials, I’ve been planning a huge site overhaul with a new theme, widgets, and other neat stuff to really enhance the user experience here at the site. You guys visiting the site is my primary priority and I want to give each and every one of you a wonderful learning and site experience. Also, to interact and collaborate with you guys more, I’ve been meaning to host the first Live Stream to discuss new plans, ideas, and tutorials. If you have suggested dates or times, post them down in the comments below. Feel free to follow my Twitter or Facebook for more updates!
