Say you have a huge sequence of footages and layers, trimmed down and moved around everywhere within the After Effects timeline. What if you wanted to precompose those layers while keeping their position on the timeline, all while being trimmed so you can apply your chrome keying or other effects without having to re-trim? Use the Trim Compose Script to automatically precompose all your layers/footages, trim them down to the original length, and place them in the proper area of your timeline instead of the beginning!
